It was a hot night & a delicious love celebration with mini Red Velvet Valentine cupcakes from Crave Cupcakes at the Bellevegas Boardroom grand opening on Friday February 11th, 2011.

Here at home with my son, and while he is sleeping, I am getting caught up with my posts on work I’ve done for Horntrip, over a cup of coffee, no less, reminds me of my reoccurring visits to many of the local establishments that serve up a mighty fine cup of coffee. I haven’t seen FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper in any of these places, but if he was in the area on a special investigation, I’m sure he’d be found savouring some of the beverages and tasty treats and eats that are available. Most of the cafés in the county insist and make a vocal point of serving fair trade coffees, locally produced ingredients, and of course all with the flair that Prince Edward County is known for. And maybe one might find a rare slice of cherry pie.

Move beyond wine and places to dip your feet into the water. In this issue of Horntrip, Bryan Bondy experiences the various places around Prince Edward County where one can feast on a number of delicious delicacies to tempt even the faintest of sweet tooth’s.

Now found in locations thorough out the county, are posters detailing some of the wines grown here locally. These posters feature one bottle from each winery who is part of the Association.
